A Pulmonologist is a specialized medical professional who diagnoses and treats conditions and diseases affecting the respiratory system. They play a pivotal role in the Physician industry, dealing with a range of health issues from common concerns like asthma and pneumonia to more severe conditions such as lung cancer and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). They perform diagnostic procedures like bronchoscopy and interpret tests like pulmonary function test (PFT).
