We are seeking a Medical Oncology and Hematology Physician for an outpatient clinic located in Lapeer, Michigan. This facility is a satellite of a larger healthcare network, and is equipped to provide comprehensive care with support staff that includes oncology RNs, medical assistants, and a social worker. The position offers coverage during clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, three days a week, and is essential to fill a current recruitment gap.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide outpatient clinic coverage on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
- Manage an average of patients per day in a supportive outpatient setting.
- Participate in tumor board meetings and collaborate with the medical team.
- Provide clinic call as required.
- Utilize Cerner EMR system for patient documentation and care management.
- Board Certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology - REQUIRED
- BLS/ACLS certification - REQUIRED
- Active Michigan medical license - REQUIRED
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR system - PREFERRED
- Recent NPDB self-query required (within 30 days) - REQUIRED
- Active state license in Michigan
- Board Certification in Medical Oncology and Hematology
- BLS and ACLS certifications
