This hospital is seeking locum tenens gastroenterology coverage for its inpatient service. The facility maintains anesthesiologist support and the clinical infrastructure necessary to manage a high volume of GI bleed and related gastroenterology cases. Coverage is provided on a 24-hour call basis.

Florida offers a wide variety of outdoor and recreational activities throughout the year, including water-based recreation, nature exploration, and cultural pursuits. The state features diverse regional attractions, from natural landscapes and coastal environments to arts and entertainment destinations. Clinicians relocating or traveling to Florida will find ample opportunities for year-round outdoor activities and regional exploration.

The gastroenterologist will provide inpatient gastroenterology coverage during 24-hour call shifts, managing a patient population in which approximately 80% of cases involve GI bleeds. ERCP proficiency is preferred for this assignment. Anesthesiologist support is available to assist with procedural cases. Board certification in Gastroenterology is required for this on-site inpatient position.
