About the Opportunity
A growing physician-owned pathology practice in Pensacola, Florida is seeking a full-time AP/CP Surgical Pathologist to join its expanding team. This opportunity offers a collegial, physician-led environment serving a broad regional network throughout the Florida Panhandle and lower Alabama.
The anatomic pathology department is comprised of ten pathologists with subspecialty expertise in gastrointestinal pathology, dermatopathology, cytopathology, and hematopathology. The practice provides services across numerous hospitals and physician groups in the region.
Position Highlights
Broad-based surgical pathology practice
Collaborative, physician-owned environment
Strong emphasis on quality patient care and clinical relationships
Partnership track available after 1 year for candidates seeking long-term employment
Generous vacation package - 10 weeks annually
Qualifications
MD or DO degree (or equivalent)
Board certified or board eligible in Anatomic Pathology (AP/CP preferred)
Fellowship training or subspecialty experience welcomed, but not required
Preferred areas of expertise include:
Hematopathology
Cytopathology
Genitourinary Pathology
Head & Neck Pathology
Breast Pathology
Neuropathology
Must possess or be eligible to obtain medical licenses in both Florida and Alabama
