Job Title: Locum - Physician - Radiology - Diagnostic

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Radiologist with Mammography (biopsy) privileges to join our team on a locum basis at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital. The radiologist will be responsible for reading various radiology studies, including diagnostic mammograms, breast biopsies, PET scans, CT, MRI, X-ray, and ultrasound. The ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic skills, particularly in mammography and breast biopsies, and be comfortable working in an outpatient setting.

Schedule & Availability:

• Start Date: 05/27/2026
• Coverage Needed: 10/12-10/16, 10/26-10/30, 11/9-11/13, 12/14-12/18, 12/21-12/25, 12/28-1/1
• Duration: 9-12 months
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• No call required

Job Setting:
Outpatient Clinic in a hospital outpatient building (Building 4).

Responsibilities:

• Reading studies of all modalities in addition to diagnostic mammograms with breast biopsies
• Performing breast biopsies and screening mammograms
• Reading PET, CT, MRI, X-ray, US, and other studies as needed
• Utilizing EMR system Cerner and collaborating with support staff including radiology techs and ultrasound techs

Credentialing & Support:

• Credentialing time: 90-120 days for hospital and foundation privileges
• Support staff includes radiology technicians, US techs, and other trained personnel

Travel & Reimbursement:

• Airfare up to $750 (Economy)
• Preferred lodging (up to 1.5x GSA rate)
• Car rental: $65/day cap
• Mileage: IRS standard rate
• No additional expenses
