Clinical Details :

• Diagnostic Radiology with Mammography (biopsy) privileges
• Setting: Outpatient Clinic
• Duties: Reading studies of all modalities, diagnostic mammograms, and breast biopsies
• Required Procedures: Read Mammo, PET, and perform breast biopsies
• EMR: Cerner
• Support Staff: Radiology techs, US techs, other support staff, radiologist on site for mammography 3 days/week
• Average Monthly Volumes: Procedures (wire loc, biopsy, etc): 13; Screening Mammos: 225; Diagnostic Mammograms: 30
• Read radiology studies from the emergency department and inpatient; option to send to teleradiology group if needed
• Needed for mammography and breast biopsies
  • Preferred: PET in addition to any other studies (CT, MRI, X-ray, US, etc)

Requirements :

• Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology or Board Eligible
• State License CA
• Ability to perform diagnostic mammograms and biopsies
• BLS/ACLS and DEA during credentialing
• Clean malpractice history - Highly Preferred
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation
