The facility features a 6-bed department with 2 physicians in practice, onsite lab and ultrasound capabilities, and utilizes Meditech EMR system for efficient patient care documentation.
Opportunity:
Physician - OB/GYN
Job Details:
Provide OBGYN call coverage starting in July with ongoing availability
Must be local and available for a minimum of 5 shifts per month
Handle 10 clinic shifts monthly, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (may include surgical days)
Manage 1-2 scheduled patients per day on average
Provide 24-hour call coverage from 7am-7am when needed
Handle both low risk (46 patients due in August) and high risk pregnancies (28% of practice)
Gynecology cases comprise 50% of practice
Manage 1-2 nursery admissions per day on average
Perform routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, and cesarean sections
Handle complex cases including breech deliveries, multiple births, and abruptions
Conduct decision-making for c-sections and repair 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
Perform gynecological procedures including ectopic pregnancy management, ovary removal, and cystectomy
Must be Board Certified in OBGYN (no Board Eligible candidates)
Requires active Michigan medical license and participation in MI Medicaid/CHAMPS
ACLS and BLS certification required
COVID vaccination required
Clean background required for expedited credentialing
Compensation:
