Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Job Title: Locum - Physician - OB/GYN

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated OB/GYN physician to provide coverage at OMH starting October 2026, with ongoing dates. The provider must be local and available for a minimum of 5 shifts per month, primarily Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The schedule includes 10 clinic shifts per month, with one of these days potentially involving surgical procedures. Occasional night or 24-hour call shifts are required, with night shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 am.

The practice has a 6-bed facility, with onsite lab and ultrasound capabilities. Nursing staff are available on the Labor & Delivery floor. The patient load averages 1-2 patients per day, with approximately 46 low-risk pregnancies and 28% high-risk pregnancies. The practice handles both routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal births, C-sections, breech presentations, and multiple births. Gynecologic procedures such as ectopic pregnancy management, ovary removal, and cystectomies are also performed.

Certification Requirements:

• ACLS (Required)
• BLS

OBGYN Procedures Covered:

• Low and high-risk pregnancies
• Delivery procedures (vaginal, C-section, breech, multiple)
• Repair of third and fourth-degree lacerations
• Gynecologic surgeries (eg, ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy)
