Facility is seeking 2-3 providers for in-house coverage.

Level 3 NICU

Reason for Coverage: resignation of an existing neonatologist

  • July dates: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 17, 19, 21, 23, 24, 26, 28, 31
  August dates: 2, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 30

• Schedule: 7 pm to 7 am, in-house call
• TEMPS are approved!
• How Many Neonatologists in Your Group? 3 full time, 2 part time, 4 contingents
• Number of Exam Rooms: 15 bed NICU
• Average Number of Admissions Per Day: 0 to 4
• Is the Locum Tenens Physician Required to Attend C-Sections? Yes
• Is the Locum Tenens Physician Required to Cover the Level I (Well-Baby) Nursery? No
• Is the Locum Tenens Physician Required to Transfer Neonates? Yes
• Average Number of Patients Per Day: 12
• Documentation System/EMR: Cerner/Ecare/Power chart
• Facility Trauma Level/Designation: 3
• Board Requirements (Board Certified/Board Eligible): BC or truly BE
• Is Fellowship Training Required? Yes, Neonatology fellowship is required
• Will you Accept Providers Needing to Obtain State License? No, license in hand
• Certification Requirement (BLS, NALS, PALS, etc.): BLS, NRP
• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: Current HF credentialing timeframe is 90-120 days. The site has urgent need and is requesting temps

• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days TEMPS APPROVED

• Board Certified in Neonatology REQUIRED
• Michigan medical license REQUIRED
• Clean background REQUIRED
• Fellowship-trained in Neonatology REQUIRED
• BLS NRP and ACLS certification REQUIRED
• NPDB Self-Query report (Should be pulled within 30 days) - REQUIRED, required at the time of presentation
• Please note which of the open shifts the provider can commit to. REQUIRED
• Must be currently working (or have worked in the last 6 months) at a Level 3 or 4 NICU REQUIRED
