Plastic Surgeon Jobs in Texas
A Plastic Surgeon is a crucial professional in the medical field, responsible for performing surgeries that aim to repair, restore, or improve the physical appearance or function of certain body parts. In terms of qualifications, a Plastic Surgeon must undergo extensive education and training. Firstly, they need an undergraduate degree, followed by a medical degree. They should then complete a 6-year residency in plastic surgery, some even pursue a fellowship for specialization. They must also be certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Before becoming a Plastic Surgeon, a person may have worked as a general physician, a surgical intern, or a resident in general surgery.
